What is Impeachment?
A power that is held by the House of Representatives, which is the first step of removing the President or other "Civil Officers" from power, by accusing them of committing a High Crime or Misdemeanor. The conviction comes from the Senate. This does not actually remove them from office.
Have any Presidents been Impeached?
Two Presidents have been Impeached: Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton. Richard Nixon retired from his office before he could be Impeached.
